GREEでは、2006年11月から24時間体制でのサイトパトロールを実施しているが、これまでの日記、コミュニティなどでの投稿に加えて、ユーザー間で交わされるミニメール（GREEメール）の内容も対象範囲とし、違反行為の取り締まりを強化する。また、小中高校の夏季休業期間が開始するタイミングに合わせて、テレビCMを活用した啓発活動を開始する。
